Discover the story of Welsh rebellion, relive previous battles and meet historical characters including the Welsh Lord Hubert de Burgh and Kidwelly Castle’s archers.

From palaces and castles to abbeys and industrial treasures, events will take place at some of Wales’s most spectacular historic sites to bring Welsh history to life for visitors.

John Griffiths, Minister for Culture and Sport, said: 'More than two and a half million people visit Cadw sites each year and the Bank Holiday weekend is the perfect time to explore Wales’s incredible heritage.'

'Cadw’s exciting events programme aims to bring Wales’s fascinating history to life in a fun and engaging way to appeal to a wide range of audiences. We hope that through sharing the sites’ dramatic stories, visitors and local people alike will be inspired to explore and connect with Wales’s heritage.'
