Toilets are located in the visitor centre.

The castle is situated on the top of a hill overlooking the town.

Narrow road access to the castle car park which is situated approx 100 metres from the castle entrance.

There is a gravelled car parking area adjacent to the castle which holds approx 15 cars.

There is one dedicated disabled parking space. Disabled  space can be booked in advance of visit.

Slight gradient from car park to the Gatehouse entrance.

Main area of the castle is even and accessible and some areas have slopes and steps.

3 picnic tables which have wheelchair sections.
