Tintern Abbey will be closed for a private event on Saturday 16th September. Due to the set up of the event there may be limited access to some areas of the monument from Thursday 7th September until Friday 22nd September. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.

The area is generally made up of flat lawn areas with some gravelled paths
Mobility access to most of the site is achievable 
There is a larger shared car park near the abbey entrance, charges apply, with approx. 55 spaces. Including 5 dedicated disabled spaces
There is dedicated coach parking. There is also an overflow car park with 25 spaces, charges apply.
