Welcome to 1348…
Caernarfon Castle is in a state of excitement!! Rumours abound that the newly invested Prince of Wales - Edward, eldest son of Edward III, also known as the Black Prince - is coming to visit.
Captain John Cooper has returned to Caernarfon after fighting alongside the Prince in France. He has many stories of battle and adventure to tell.
The castle guard and servants are in a frenzy of excitement as they welcome back their seemingly heroic Captain and prepare for a royal feast.
Come and help with the preparations. Practise your archery, listen to tales of knightly adventures and find out what life was like in the castle in the 14th century.
