Red Dragon Archery Club

Have-a-go Archery Day!

Come and meet our resident archery club members – the Red Dragon Archers from Caernarfon.

They will demonstrate how the bow has evolved since the days of the medieval longbow, as well as provide instruction on how to shoot a bow - £3 for 6 arrows.

Learn how to load and fire a trebuchet, watch an arrowsmith making a medieval arrowhead and a fletcher placing the feathers.

The garrison’s fine ladies will be at the campsite to discuss medieval food and herbal remedies.
