The Chapel, which is home to Laugharne English Congregational Church, was built in the late 19th century.

Doors to each side of the foyer provide entrance to the sanctuary, which has a good-sized seating area of beautiful wooden pews separated into sections by two side aisles. The tall windows allow plenty of natural light to enter in day-time and the acoustics of the building are excellent, hence its use for choir rehearsals and concerts.

There is a balcony at the back, and the back wall features a stained glass window which is much-admired by visitors. At the front, the pulpit occupies a central place on the large raised platform, with the communion table below it.

For Open Doors, there will be a display of local items about the chapel, its history and current work. There may be light refreshments available periodically through the times that the chapel is open.

On Sunday 22 September there will be a Harvest Festival Service from 2.30pm to 3.30pm (approx). All are welcome to attend and there will be activities provided for children of primary school age during the sermon, led by someone who has been fully DBS checked. (NB - visitors will not be able to wander around looking at the display during the service)

No booking required.
