Beaumaris Castle will host one of the biggest events of the year this August and will transform the castle back to medieval times.
Knights will parade and do battle to conquer the land, jesters and musicians will entertain with wonderful skills and beautiful music, and the townsfolk will demonstrate what life was like in medieval Wales.
Meet the dragons and birds of prey, and take part in the dragon parade. And look out for the executioner!
Groups will set up camp inside the castle grounds and demonstrate how life was back in the heyday of the castles. There will be lots of living history displays, crafts, games, armoury talks and a chance to dress like a knight, archery displays, wildlife talks on the birds of prey, sword fighting, music, dragons and more.
The chapel will have beautiful traditional music being played on a Welsh harp, and there will be roaming minstrels entertaining.
The jesters will perform dangerous tricks which will amaze all. There will also be jester workshops where visitors can join in the fun.
Dragons will roam the castle, and you can join in the dragon land speed record and battle the knights to conquer the castle.
There will also be craft and food stalls around the site offering varied gifts and refreshments.
There’ll be so much going on you’ll need to come back the following day to see it all! So why not buy an annual membership and enjoy other sites and a great summer events programme!
