Make your very own medieval puppet show!

Follow the videos to create a medieval theatre, inspired by the Cadw musical The Mighty Quill, the story of Gerald of Wales!

These online lessons are all based on the theme of medieval life. Everything, from castles to soldiers and horses, can be made from household items. The activities are suitable from the age of four to adult and when all the tasks are completed, you will have a puppet show and theatre to dazzle and amaze!

The lessons were made as part of a blended learning project and were created by bilingual educators, ably assisted by a very enthusiastic four year old.

These activities are also suitable for delivering the Expressive Arts element of the new curriculum and reference notable artists and techniques.
