The Old Courthouse is an early 15th century courthouse, recently purchased by Ruthin Town Council as both offices and a venue for events. 

For Open Doors, there will be a talk by Chantal Bradburn of Chester University entitled The Creative Genius of the architect John Douglas. John Douglas designed the Peers Memorial/Clock Tower in St Peter's Square Ruthin, as well as other buildings within the town, including Ruthin School and two domestic properties. He is a renowned Victorian architect. 

The talk will last for around 2 hours, with plenty of time for questions.

There are nearby car-parks in Market Street and a little further away at Cae Ddol and Ruthin Craft Centre.
