Walk to explore the buildings of John Douglas in Ruthin

Ruthin School was one of the buildings in Ruthin designed by John Douglas, renowned Victorian architect. 

The walk on Sunday September 8 will start at Ruthin School at 10.45am and be led by tour guide, Heather Williams. It will start by exploring parts of Ruthin School and then progress to some other John Douglas buildings in Ruthin. There will be some uneven ground and steep sections during the walk.

The walk will last around 2 hours.

The meeting point for the walk is Ruthin School, which is on Mold Road (A494) on the outskirts of Ruthin at LL15 1EE5.

The school is opposite the local secondary school, Brynhyfryd. It's a short walk from the centre but there's parking on the school driveway. 

Ruthin is well served by buses to and from Rhyl, Denbigh, Chester, Mold, Wrexham and Corwen. Check the Transport for Wales website for timetables. https://tfw.wales/waystotravel/bus
