Car Parking Information
There is no on-site parking however there is a limited amount of parking spaces in the village. There is a free car park by the river with a footpath leading up the hill 250 yards away from the entrance. Footpath does contain some steps.

Site Access
Contractors may have vehicle access to the gates of the castle. The access lane is very narrow and limited turning available. Any vehicle access to the site for events is strictly off hours and restricted to the area in front of the shop. No vehicles are permitted on the grass or over the bridge

Access for restricted mobility
Access to the monument is down a tarmacked cul-de-sac. The castle grounds are part level and part sloping with both grass and gravel paths. Access to the towers and ditch is not possible to those with restricted mobility

Power facilities on site for hirers
16amp power supply socket located underneath the North end of the bridge between the Outer and Inner Ward however care must be taken when accessing this location. All event holders must use the services of a qualified electrician to advise them on the power drop between the socket and the end appliance. A copy of the calculation must be provided within the application
