Car Parking Information
There is a pay and display car park at the castle, two disabled bays and 23 other spaces. There is a privately run beach car park (which charges for parking) in lower Harlech. To find the beach car park, follow the yellow directional signage for ‘Park and Ride’. Pay and display parking is also available in the town centre.

No vehicle access is permitted to the site.
Access for restricted mobility
There is a level bridge to access the castle and most of the ground floor is accessible. Once inside the castle, there are uneven surfaces and steps.

Yes – to a depth of 4 inches. Hirers are advised to use pegs which are as thin as possible to avoid damage.
Any restricted areas?
Yes – North Gatehouse Tower is restricted due to height restrictions within the staircase. There will also be some restricted areas on the site during conservation or maintenance work.
