A Very Merry Christmas from Castell Coch
Come to one of our Santa sessions!
Santa sessions include entry to Santa's Grotto, plus:
- write a letter to Santa
- listen to a Christmas story
- decorate a Christmas card
- Christmas craft activity
Finish with a hot chocolate, purchased in our delightful tea room.
Please book your children’s Santa Grotto tickets online in advance.
Saturday 7, Sunday 15 and Saturday 21 December - English sessions.
Sunday 8, Saturday 14 and Sunday 22 December - Bilingual sessions.
Please arrive at the start of your session: our team will ensure you enter the Grotto as quickly as possible but please bear with us if there is a short delay.
(Please note: Cadw monument passes and non-Cadw promotions are not valid for this event).
How to book
- Click Book now and select your required tickets according to age range. (we offer 3 ticket types from 0–17yrs)
- Select your time slot
- Proceed to checkout (all Santa tickets must be booked in advance).

When you visit
- please bring proof of your online booking with you
- present your QR code for us to scan (you can display this on your mobile device or bring a hard copy)
- purchase your additional adult visitor admission tickets to enter the castle.
All Santa Grotto tickets cover children’s admission to the castle and entry to the grotto.
If you have problems finding your booking, we can find your booking through your name and/or email address.
