Events

If you’re still looking for that Christmas event with a difference, please join us at Tretower Court and Castle on 21 December for festive ghost stories 🎅.

We’ll be gathering in the medieval kitchen of Tretower Court to light the fire and discover local legends of the manor, after all, Wales is a land of myths and legends.

Wednesday 21 December at 5.30pm and 7.30pm. 

Tickets £15.

Cadw sites opening times over Christmas and New Year

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our heritage sites over the holiday period but please remember, monuments will be closed on 24, 25 and 26 December and 1 January.

Our fairy tale castle – Castell Coch – will also be closed throughout January for its annual deep clean, re-opening on Friday 3 February 2023.

Lastly, we just wanted to offer our heartfelt thanks for your continuing support throughout 2022; we’re looking forward to sharing more historic adventures with you in 2023.
