Statutory listed building consultation notices
The Historic Environment (Wales) Act 2023 requires the Welsh Ministers to consult with owners, occupiers and other persons if they are proposing to list a building or remove a building from the list. Particulars of every consultation notice must be published electronically.
Interim protection — listed buildings
A building being considered for listing will enjoy interim protection as if already listed. Interim protection will last from the beginning of the consultation period until the Welsh Ministers reach a decision on the designation.
