Photo competition

To get into the Christmas spirit, we want you to share your best photo, video or reel of your favourite Cadw site on Instagram with #CadwChristmas to be in with a chance of winning a 3-day Explorer Pass. Whether you choose to take a selfie, a scenery shot or opt for the self-timer, we’d love to see your pictures.

The process is simple:

  • upload your image, video or reel of your favourite Cadw site that you have visited to Instagram
  • use the hashtag #CadwChristmas
  • tag @cadwcymruwales
  • follow our Instagram, Facebook or Twitter page
  • the winner image/video or reel will be featured on Cadw’s social media channels and will receive a 3-day Explorer Pass* — allowing you to explore even more of our majestic sites for FREE!

Terms and Conditions:

  • The closing date for the competition is 5:00pm on Friday 22 December 2023.
  • Your image must be shared or posted organically on Instagram.
  • All competition entrants must tag @cadwcymruwales, follow @cadwcymruwales and use the hashtag #CadwChristmas.
  • An image will be selected at random.
  • The identity of the winner may be published on Cadw’s social media along with their winning entry.
  • The winning entry image/ video or reel will be published on Cadw’s social media channels. 
  • We will contact the winner via direct message within 10 days of the end date to confirm they are the winner, with instructions on how to claim their prize. Reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, Cadw reserves the right to offer the prize to a different entrant.
  • Those entries that are not winners will not receive further communication from Cadw about their entry.
  • By participating in the competition, you are accepting these general survey competition terms and conditions.
