To celebrate Denbigh’s Midsummer Festival, we invite you to Denbigh Castle to take part in our Medieval Re-enactment Day.

There will be an opportunity to test your aim with have-a-go archery and to hone your sword skills during squire training (children only).

The Princes Retinue will talk you through dressing a knight in preparation for a combat scene which will commence at the end of the day.

The re-enactors are a wealth of knowledge and happy to have a chat about how life might have been in the castle during the medieval period.

You do not need to book tickets for this event.
