An historic site with something for everyone.

From magnificent woodland and magical natural play areas to extraordinary history and opportunity at every turn, Bailey Hill is an accessible gem in the heart of Mold.

Named after the medieval motte and bailey castle that once stood proudly in the middle of this traditional market town, Bailey Hill is a lovely public park with lots of different areas to explore. Wander among the remains of the castle, gaze at the Gorsedd Circle, soak up the serene space and enjoy the breathtaking views – it’s the perfect place to spend time with friends and family.

For Open Doors, there will be a free guided tour on the history of the park, delivered by the Bailey Hill Visitor Volunteers. Followed by tea and coffee in the newly redeveloped Bailey Hill Centre.

Booking required. To book your place please email baileyhill@moldtowncouncil.org.uk with your name, number of spaces needed, contact details and postcode.
There are 25 spaces available on each tour.
