This medieval chapel of ease was restored in 1829. The earliest features are the fine triple lancet east window and the south door, both dating to the 13th century. The unusual stained glass of 1977 in the east window was designed by John Edwards and depicts Jesus as a shepherd of the time.

A large 19th century plaster statue of the Sacred Heart is another notable feature. Although its origins are uncertain, a local tradition holds that that it came from Capel-y-ffin monastery founded by Father Ignatius OSB, who reintroduced monastic life to the Anglican Communion during the 19th century.

For Open Doors, the church will be open to visitors, with light refreshments available.
