The Boathouse is the building most closely associated with the great poet, Dylan Thomas. The stability of a permanent home meant he enjoyed a creative renaissance there. He worked in the Writing Shed above the Boathouse, with its remarkable and inspiring views of three estuaries, and finished some of his finest works there such as Under Milk Wood. Although he only spent four years there, you'll find the Boathouse feels as if he were there a lifetime, and as if he and his family have only just stepped out.
