Open Doors - Dylan Thomas Boathouse
The Boathouse was the last home of Wales' most famous poet, Dylan Thomas, who lived here with his family for four years between 1949 and 1953. This was a special place for them all - a warm and happy family home. The Boathouse may be small, but the atmosphere and memories it evokes are great, which attracts visitors from all over the world.
Inside, you'll find many reminders of Dylan's time here, from the cosy sitting room downstairs to images and objects from his life and times upstairs.
You'll discover Dylan's story and how he became famous (and infamous!) and see a range of displays that will bring you closer to his creative and unconventional mind.
