Open Doors - Former Post Office Delivery Office

Large Victorian warehouse complex in eclectic late Gothic/Renaissance style built around 1890, in recent years it housed the Post Office Delivery Office. The building that fronts Bull Lane consists of three two­storey ranges. The last elevation is a 3­bay end block with shaped decorative gable. This has ball finials and ogee and stepped elements, with flat outer pilasters carried down to first­floor level where they terminate. It is a grade 11 listed building exhibiting good late Victorian character with fine terracotta detailing.
