Opened in 1876, Wrexham Cemetery is spread across eighteen acres and contains approximately 39,000 burials. The sixty-four First World War burials in Wrexham Cemetery are scattered throughout the cemetery grounds. The Second World War plot in Section D is composed of three small groups of graves, the corner group containing the forty-eight Commonwealth war graves, and the other group consisting almost entirely of Polish graves.

During the tour, you will learn about the history of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and about the heroic actions and self-sacrifice of some of the casualties buried in the cemetery.
