Car Parking Information

There are no parking facilities available on site however the nearest car park would be Vicarage Gardens in Rose Hill Street. There is limited parking on High Street for a limited time. There is a no dedicated disabled parking.

Site Access

There is no vehicular access to the site. The above car park will need to be used.

Access for restricted mobility

Town centre location. There are many steps to negotiate throughout the property. Wheelchair access available to ground floor of main house only which can be accessed via the side entrance with the site custodian.

Facilities

  • Unisex disabled toilet with wheelchair access
  • Audio tour available with induction loop
  • Snacks are available from the gift shop
  • There are also a number of benches on site
  • The mobile phone signal is fair

Licences

PRS and PPL licences held. A premises licence (not for consumption) is also held.

Interior Spaces

The gallery is 28ft long and 17ft wide. There is an alcove on one side the diameter of which is 5ft long and just over 3dt wide. The Gallery is located at the top of the Gatehouse so there are roof trusses which take up some head space on either side of the room. It has a male/ female toilet, power points and lighting from some up-lighters. There are air vents located in the floor on both sides of the room which provide heating/cool air.

The room can be hired for a maximum of 40 people for the following:

  • full day £72
  • half day £42
  • evening £48

Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships

Yes – Civil weddings are held in the Great Chamber for a maximum of 40 people.
