North Wales:
Basingwerk Abbey - Ysgol Maesglas
Castell Caernarfon - Ysgol Rhosgadfan
Rhosgadfan School - are the Young Custodians for Caernarfon Castle. They have held study days at the castle, worked with an artist to create banners, hosted the opening launch of the Kings Gate and created tapestries with Cefyn Burgess and a local group of embroiderers on the story of Macsen Wledig.
Castell Conwy – Ysgol Minafon
Ysgol Minafon (Previously Ysgol Cystennin and Ysgol Babanod Mochdre) - The learners from the school became the Young Custodians Wales for Conwy Castle in 2019. Aged between 5 and 11 the youngsters will be the youth voice for any future decisions about this important World Heritage Site in North Wales. They worked with textile artist Cefyn Burgess to create two tapestries based on the history of Conwy Castle

Castell Rhuddlan - Ysgol y Castell
Castell y Bere - Ysgol Penybryn, Tywyn, Gwynedd
Castell y Fflint - Ysgol Gwynedd, Flint
Ysgol Flint Gwynedd - was the first Young Custodian School. They used Flint Castle as inspiration for arts, history and literature projects; staging events which included a performance of Macbeth at Flint Castle
Plas Mawr - Ysgol Porth y Felin
South Wales:
Neath Abbey - Dwr y Felin
Dwr Y Felin - became the first school in South Wales to make the link, with its nearby site Neath Abbey. It now has a strong Young Custodian group, driven by the History teacher, but with other parts of school now actively engaging.
