A Very Merry Christmas from Castell Coch
Come to one of our Welsh language Santa sessions!
Santa sessions include entry to Santa's Grotto, plus write a letter to Santa.
Please book your children’s Santa Grotto tickets online in advance.

How to book
- Click Book now and select your required ticket types (0-18mths / 18mths-4yrs / 5-17yrs)
- Select your date & time slot
- Proceed to checkout (all Santa tickets must be booked in advance)
Please be on time for your Santa slot. You are welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy a wander around the castle and take part in the activities. But please note the castle and activities start to close down at 3.30pm.
Scaffolding is currently in place at the castle for essential conservation work, but it will not affect visitor access during the Christmas event. All interior areas of the castle will remain open as usual, and staff will ensure safe and enjoyable access throughout. Visitors can still explore every part of the castle and experience the full festive atmosphere.

When you visit
- Please bring proof of your online booking with you
- Present your QR code for us to scan (you can display this on your mobile device or bring a hard copy)
Please note that adult visitors are required to purchase their admission tickets to enter the castle on arrival.
All Santa Grotto tickets cover children’s admission to the castle and entry to the grotto.
