Cadw are inviting visitors to step into the past and uncover the rich tapestry of Welsh history with an enhanced programme of guided tours at selected Cadw venues across Wales.

Cadw’s expert guides will take visitors on a journey through time exploring medieval castles, religious sites of the Cistercian age and the stories behind these historic monuments.

The tours, which start in May will give visitors the opportunity to explore some of Wales' finest historical sites, from Roman forts, medieval castles to Neolithic tombs.

Gwilym Hughes, Head of Cadw, said:

“Following the success of last summer’s guided tours, we’re delighted to be able to offer even more exciting opportunities for people to delve into the history of some of the most fascinating historic places across Wales.

“Lead by expert guides, these tours will offer visitors an unparalleled opportunity to learn more about our shared heritage”.
