Tretower Court and Castle hosted an evening of ghost stories on 21 December — the winter solstice — welcoming visitors to gather around the open fire in Tretower’s medieval kitchen and share a glass of mulled wine or a sweet cup of hot chocolate.

Tales abounded of tragedy linked to the site of Tretower Court itself and ancient Welsh folk stories of lovers spurned, violent and mysterious events and ghoulish visitations on the living who perpetrated unforgiveable crimes.

Thank you to everyone who attended (both performances sold out) and we look forward to welcoming you to our next event.
