Cadw Survey Prize Draw Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice

Cadw is offering a chance to win a prize, as set out in paragraph 6 below in accordance with these general survey competition terms and conditions

  • the competition will run for as long as the survey, or indefinitely for the Post Visit Survey. Cadw may withdraw the survey at any time
  • by participating in the competition you accept these general survey competition terms and conditions
  • only tickets booked and redeemed through the online booking system on the Cadw website will receive an email link to the survey. QR codes can also be found onsite at Cadw staffed monuments. 
  • tour operator group visitors are not eligible for this competition.

 

The Prize

A one-year Cadw membership or gift membership, or renewal if you are already a member.

How to participate

For those who book online, after your visit or event you will receive an invitation to take part in the survey, please click the link to complete the survey.

For those, who did not book online, QR codes can be found on posters at Cadw staffed sites. 

Eligibility

In order to be eligible to participate in the competition a registered user must:

  • have visited a Cadw site or event 
  • be 18 to complete the survey and enter the prize draw
  • answer all questions marked as required in the survey
  • consent to participate in the competition in the survey
  • not be an employee or supplier of Cadw or the Welsh Government
  • complete the survey once for each Cadw site visited.

Prize draw and redemption

  1. Cadw will randomly select a winner four times a year on 1 March, 1 June, 1 September and 1 December (or the first working day following these dates)
  2. selection of winners is a completely random process over which Cadw exercises no judgment and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of competitions
  3. identities of winners will not be disclosed or published
  4. an email will be sent to the winner asking them to confirm the prize they wish to receive and the email address to send it to — winners must reply to the email within 5 days to redeem their prize. If no reply within 5 days, another entry will be drawn. This will repeat until a winner is found. 
  5. successfully redeemed prizes will be sent to the winner by email within 30 days of receiving their redemption email
  6. those entries that are not winners will not receive further communication from Cadw about their entry and their contact details will be deleted
  7. by participating in the competition and accepting these general survey competition terms and conditions you consent to Cadw using your personal information to contact you if you are a winner.
