Our Children's Activity Days at Strata Florida are interactive and can be delivered in either Welsh or English. Topics include the history of the medieval abbey and the lives of the Cistercian monks, the Mynachlog Fawr Farmhouse, hands-on archaeology experiences, and the environmental impact of the nearby Abbey Consols lead mine.

There are toilets on site and drinks and snacks available in the Visitor Centre, along with a range of gifts, books and local produce.  Some of our events and activities are outdoors so dress appropriately for the weather.
