Join Myfanwy, a medieval woman, on this very special day, for a guided tour around this castle built by the Welsh Princes.

Myfanwy is a fictional female, a long-standing friend and supporter of the real-life character of Marred (Margaret). Marred was the wife of the great Welsh rebel of the 15th century, Owain Glyndwr, whose rebellion against the King of England, Henry IV, raged for more than ten years.

Let Myfanwy, in her medieval costume, tell you the tale of this most unlikely rebel, while guiding you around one of the sites he attacked across the water from his headquarters where he directed his campaign.

Share his successes and ultimate defeat while wandering the ruins of Castell Cricieth, and discover from tourist guide, Siân Roberts, why his fame still lingers as a legacy for the modern age.
