Historic Echoes
Owain Glyndŵr, declared Prince of Wales by his followers, has revolted against English rule, and Laugharne Castle holds fast for King Henry IV.
Discover how a castle was attacked and defended, handle a sword and try a helmet, and uncover the secrets of leechcraft as you are transported back to 1403.
Will you support the English king, or declare your support for the legendary Welsh rebel?
11.30am – weapons and armour talk.
12.30pm – medicine and surgery talk.
1.30pm – castles and siege-craft talk.
3pm – display of combat.
The three themed talks will feature displays of tools and techniques, and the day will end with a demonstration of how the weapons and armour work with a combat display.
You do not need to book tickets for this event.
