The single-storey cottage, Bronheulog, is believed to date from 1832 and was given by the Countess of Lisburne to the Women’s Institute as a meeting room in 1917. It is one of very few properties in the UK to be owned and managed by a local branch of the W.I.
The building is Grade II listed, as it’s of historical interest as a very early W.I. hall and for its connection to the nearby Trawsgoed Estate.

For Open Doors, there will be a Saturday coffee morning inside the recently updated and redecorated cottage.
Visitors are also welcome to take a tour of the wildlife garden, weather permitting.
A range of homemade cakes, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, home-produced sweet and savoury preserves, craft items and cottage garden plants will be available to guests to purchase, plus a multi-prize raffle.
