This handsome Gothic nonconformist church with spire was designed in the early English style by Richard Owen in 1883.

The interior contains some fine woodwork, including an ornate pulpit, splendid wagon ceiling, and a rear gallery. There is much ornamental coloured glass, a Great War memorial in Sicilian marble, and a two manual pipe organ installed in 1887.

The church will be open, with tea and coffee, a display of photographs, documents and other items of church history, and organ music. People may climb to the gallery for a spectacular view of the fine timber ceiling, stained glass and pipe organ.

No booking required.

Address: Castle Square Presbyterian Church, Castle Square, Caernarfon, LL55 2NA.

Grid reference 2480 3626.

The church is located on the main square in the centre of Caernarfon, opposite the castle.
