Open Doors - Cathays Cemetery

The Grade II listed chapels, dating from 1859, have undergone extensive renovation and refurbishment. They reflect the different approaches to the design of the Episcopalian and Non-Conformist movements of the Victorian period.

This is a rare opportunity to see inside the Victorian Chapels and vestries after their extensive renovation and refurbishment.

There will also be an opportunity to join a guided walk around the cemetery at 11.30am and 1.30pm.

The cemetery entrance is located in Fairoak Road. Car parking will be available on the day inside the Cemetery gates off Fairoak Road, next to the Chapels.

Bus services from the city centre: alight by Cathays Library.

Dogs (except assistance dogs) are not allowed in the Chapels.
