Enjoy free site entry at the only known Roman gold mine in the UK.  Explore the mine yard, try panning for gold, visit the machinery sheds and small museum.   

You will also have free access to ancient underground mine workings on the self-led Roman Mine Trail.  Simply collect a hard hat and fob  (booking not required).
