Love Lane properties first documented in rental documents of the late fifteenth century, represent early development of Denbigh outside the walls. The odd numbered properties have rear plots adjoining the town walls and lie within the town’s conservation area. Most of the buildings in this area are part of nineteenth century rebuilding. In 1856 John Williams describes its transition from ‘the primitive simplicity of thatched cottages to improved modern and substantial house property’. The property contains a ceramic studio and sculptural garden showing the work of Wendy Lawrence inspired by natural forms using volcanic glazes.

The 2024 Denbigh Open Doors Weekend launches Friday 20th September 2024 with a geology evening lecture at the Theatr Twm o'r Nant. Over the following two days, Saturday and Sunday 21st and 22nd September 2024 from 10am to 5pm, around thirty historically important sites in the locale will be open to the public, supplemented by children’s workshops and guided tours. A booking service for the sites/workshops and guided tours offering a limited number of places will be available through Denbigh Library, closer to the start of the weekend.
