A chance to see the kitchen gardens that inspired the Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies!

Beatrix Potter visited the residence of her uncle and aunt on thirteen occasions between 1895 and 1913. Her sketches of the garden were used to illustrate the book. You can see Mr. McGregor's potting shed, looking just as it looks in the book. The gardens have been restored to replicate the vista that Beatrix Potter viewed on her visits. They are still visited by rabbits!
