Open Doors - Howell's School, Llandaff
Howell’s School Llandaff, founded in 1860 through the endowment of philanthropist Thomas Howell, is one of Wales’s most historic independent schools. Originally established to educate girls, it remains predominantly a girls’ school, welcoming students from age 3 to 18, with boys joining in the sixth form from age 16 to 18. The site combines striking Victorian architecture with modern facilities, set within beautiful grounds in Cardiff.
On Friday 19th September, Howell’s School will proudly open its doors to the public as part of Open Doors, the nationwide celebration of architecture and heritage. Come and enjoy refreshments from 3.20pm, followed by a charming Prep School Tea Concert at 3.30pm. Afterwards, take a guided tour of our beautiful school buildings and grounds. The event will finish at 5.00pm.
Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.
