Rising proudly above the golden sands of Manorbier Beach, this magnificent 11th-century Norman castle has watched over the Pembrokeshire coast for nearly a thousand years. Its commanding position offers spectacular sea views, while its imposing stone walls tell stories of noble families, medieval life, and local legend.

Step inside to explore atmospheric chambers, climb the ancient towers, and wander through beautiful gardens. Designed as a formidable coastal stronghold, yet never called upon to withstand a siege, Manorbier Castle offers an unforgettable journey through time in one of Wales' enchanting coastal settings.

Celebrate Cadw's Open Doors at Manorbier Castle on Sunday 20 September, with free admission for all visitors. Discover the new visual and audio interpretation, bringing the medieval world to life, and explore interactive displays.

Afterwards, treat yourself to a selection of cakes, savoury lunches and refreshments in the tearoom before relaxing on the lawn. Feeling energetic? Try a game of Victorian-style mini tennis and experience a favourite pastime from a bygone era.

There's something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day.
