Perched high on the cliffs above the golden sands of Manorbier Beach, this majestic 11thcentury Norman castle offers not only breathtaking coastal views, but a history as captivating as its setting. A remarkable example of medieval architecture, it has stood over the Pembrokeshire coastline for nearly a millennium — its weathered stone walls echoing with tales of knights, nobles, and legends. Steeped in rich folklore, Manorbier Castle invites you to explore its ancient halls, scale its towers, and uncover the stories etched into every corner. Or simply take a moment to unwind in the peaceful gardens that surround this timeless fortress.

As part of the Open Doors event, we're excited to offer exclusive tours of Castle House — a charming Victorian home tucked within the historic 13thcentury castle walls, ordinarily only available to those who book to stay. Step behind the scenes and discover the stories that shaped this unique setting. Selfguided tours of the castle will also be available.

Afterwards, treat yourself to a well-deserved respite at the charming tearoom and sit and unwind in the beautiful garden.

No booking required.
