Open Doors - Meet the Romans

Come to Venta Silurum this September and meet the Romans!

Roman Centurion Tiberius Claudius Paulinus and his lady will be at the Visitor Centre at Caerwent and will be conducting tours of the Roman town.  Representing our Celtic ancestors, will be our Silurian Wise woman who will be talking about Celtic-Romano herbs on her plant stall.

Guided Tours at 11.00am & 1.45pm.  Tours will last around 1 ½ hours

Part of the walk is on rough, uneven terrain and involves steps.  Appropriate footwear and clothing should be worn.

There will be free craft activities for the kids and refreshments on sale.
