Open Doors - Newtown Library

Newtown Library is a public library within Powys. It is a single story building with parking and good access. It holds the Local Studies Collection for Montgomeryshire including maps, newspapers reference and lending books

We are having a day an open day every Thursday 10am and 4pm during September, plus Saturday 27th for family groups, where we showcase our local studies resources and invite local groups, such as the Civic Society and Montgomeryshire Genealogical Society in to show what other resources there are for Montgomeryshire.

From the Llandrindod Wells roundabout on the bypass turn right, then immediately left onto Park Street. The library is on the junction of Park Street and Park Lane. There is a good bus and train service to Newtown. The Library has a car park
