This grade I-listed chapel is one of only five grade I-listed nonconformist chapels in Wales. It was restored and is maintained by Addoldai Cymru.

For Open Doors, a trustee will be present at the chapel to give information about the chapel's history and to show people around. Literature will also be provided.

Address - Peniel Chapel, Stryd yr Eglwys, Tremadog, Gwynedd, LL49 9PS.

Directions - whether travelling from the North or the South, head to the roundabout at the north end of the Porthmadog bypass. At this roundabout, follow the sign to Tremadog. After a few hundred yards, the chapel will be visible on your left. There is a large flat car park at the front of the chapel. The main access to the chapel from the front has some low steps - however, access is also possible through the rear vestry door, which does not have any steps or inclines.

No booking required.
