Discover the breathtaking gardens of Plas yn Rhiw, a 17th-century manor perched above Cardigan Bay. Explore the beautifully tended garden filled with vibrant flowers, shrubs, and box-hedged beds. Enjoy walks through the orchard, meadow and woodlands.

While the house is currently closed for restoration, one of the rooms will be open.

Nearby, Sarn y Plas, nestled beneath the woods of Plas yn Rhiw, is a historic cottage, once the home of poet R.S. Thomas and his wife, M.E. Eldridge.

Join us on the 26 & 27 September for a guided walk, leaving from Sarn y Plas passing by Fron Deg, a traditional Tyddyn or crofters cottage dating back to the 1870s. The walk will start at 13:30 and finish at roughly 15:30 and includes some steep paths and uneven terrain. NB – The guided walk is weather dependent and booking is essential. Please check the website for updates.

Booking is essential for the guided walk - please refer to our website for more information - https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/wales/plas-yn-rhiw
