Open Doors - St Beuno's, Penmorfa

Owned by The Friends of Friendless Churches since 1999.  Restored medieval church with range of fittings and monuments including a collection of coffin plates.  Angel lectern and eagle lid to the font carved by an aunt of Clough Williams Ellis.

Take tight turn left off the main road in the village (coming from Porthmadog), the A487, and church lies half a mile further on.

Slates on the approach to the church can be slippery if it has rained.  Access to churchyard requires negotiation of steep steps up through the lychgate. The Friends do not own the churchyard.
