Open Doors - St Odoceus Church, Llandawke, near Laugharne

The church of St Odoceus lies in a dell reached through the grounds of The Old Rectory. The Friends of Friendless Churches rescued the church in 2006 from a state of dereliction.

Inside, you'll see a 14th century effigy, supposedly of St Margaret Marlos; a 6th century inscribed stone; and a richly carved oak altar of 1882, where you should be able to spot lily of the valley, rose of Sharon and a passion flower.

St Odoceus's Church will be open for visitors.

Location - in the centre of Laugharne, drive across the square into Water Street, then at signpost turn right.  Please do not go through the garden of the Old Rectory and respect the privacy of what is a private house.
