St Peter's Church sits within its own extensive grounds. The church was opened in 1930 as a Chapel of Ease and is a large late arts and crafts design built in a traditional way. The grounds occupy a corner site just down from the centre of the village. A community wellbeing garden occupies part of the ancient woodland in partnership with local charity, Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern.
The weekend will include an open garden event with cream teas on the Saturday afternoon, a choral concert with the Taff Ely Ladies Choir on Saturday evening and the chance to research family history all weekend
