St Peter's Church sits within its own extensive grounds. The church was opened in 1930 as a Chapel of Ease and is a large late arts and crafts design built in a traditional way. The grounds occupy a  corner site just down from the centre of the village. A community wellbeing garden occupies part of the ancient woodland in partnership with local charity, Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern.

The church will be open for family history research with a display of registers going back to 1747  and local historian available to answer questions.  A general display of church archives and vestments with cream teas served on both days. 

On Saturday the 20th there will be a male voice choir concert starting at 7pm. 

The popular 3 churches walk (from last year) will take place on Saturday 20th September from 9 until 1pm.

Directions - Trains run to Dinas Powys station every 15 minutes from Cardiff Central and every hour from Bridgend.
By road to Dinas Powys: from junction 33 of the M4, take the A4232. Stay on this road until the third exit (around 10km/6.2 miles) signposted Athletics Stadium and Ninian Park. Then turn right (the last exit) for Dinas Powys
