Open Doors - St Theodore’s Church Port Talbot

Built in 1897, the church was funded by Emily Charlotte Talbot of Margam Castle and the architect was John Perason.

Thursday 17th September 

6.45pm St Theodore The Liturgical Music at the time of Theodore Talbot Short Lecture and recital by Canon Graham Holcombe, followed by drinks. FREE, Donations welcome. 

Sunday 20th September St Theodore’s Day 

11am Sung Mass, preacher Bishop Lindsay Urwin followed by Buffet Lunch 

6pm Solemn Evensong & Benediction 

Monday 21st September 

Open day with Church Registers 10am –4pm Church open for visitors, come and look at all the Church Registers 

Friday 25th September 

Church open from 10am for visitors Macmillan Coffee Morning from 10.30am-12.30pm in St Theodore’s Church Hall, £5 Coffee / Tea and Cake. Cakes available on Sale. 

11.15am Mass will be a requiem for Emily Charlotte Talbot. 

Saturday 26th September 

Church Open Day 10am –2pm Church Open day with display of vestments 

11am FREE Guided tour, Refreshments available 

Sunday 27th September 

3pm Blessing of Pets
