Stori Brymbo tells the story of a 314 million year journey: from Europe's only live fossil forest excavation to a site of industrial heritage significance that was once the home of thriving coal, iron and steel industry operations. We celebrate both the nature and the people that shaped our landscape today, for the future.

In recognition of the support we have had through Cadw, we are inviting you to experience our journey for free on this special day. Come and enjoy our local history and celebrate the stories that keep us connected.

Please note that last entry into the site is at 4pm.

Location - Stori Brymbo, New High Street, Brymbo, Wrexham, LL11 5AX.

Travel by car: We’re well connected to the motorway and road network and have free on-site parking, including a small number of disabled parking spots. Once you leave the A483 at junction 4, you can follow the flags to our door. Travel by train: The nearest main train station is Wrexham General where you can take a short 10 minute walk to the Wrexham Bus station and hop on one of the buses that will take you up to Brymbo (see the Travel by bus section for further information). We have two more local stations, Gwersyllt or Cefn-y-Bedd, which are around 2.5 miles from us. Travel by bus: There are bus routes starting from Wrexham Bus Station. You can use the Arriva journey planner to view the timetables and plan your journey: https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/plan-your-journey
