Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, it is now necessary for Cadw to announce that the decision has been taken to cancel Open Doors 2020, based on the latest relevant government advice.

Although we understand you may be disappointed at this unavoidable decision, we really hope that you’ll be able to join the programme again in 2021.

Organised by Cadw, the Welsh Government’s historic environment service, Open Doors offers both local people and visitors alike the chance to explore the hidden treasures of Wales’s culture and history.

Are you involved with a heritage or cultural site that is usually closed to the public or normally charges for admission? Or is it a free-admission site but you could offer something extra, such as an organised tour, or event?

If so, and if you’re interested in organising an Open Doors event for 2020, we’re really keen to hear from you.

We’d love you to join us this September! Open Doors is an inclusive event.

We are now accepting registration forms; please send us your event details to take part.
