Our 132 historic locations offer everything from iconic castles that tower above the Wales Coast Path to heritage sites surrounded by ancient woodlands.
Whatever you want to explore, there’s a huge range of opportunities for you to become heritage ‘trail takers’ at Wales’ breath-taking historic sites.
To make your exploring that little bit easier, we’ve presented some of our heritage itineraries as interactive, digital StoryMaps. Each heritage itinerary features a collection of Cadw monuments and provides a brief background and location of each one helping you plan your historic adventures and visit as many Cadw sites as possible!
How to visit
If you're visiting multiple Cadw sites this summer, our 3-and 7-day Explorer Passes offer unlimited entry to Cadw's historic locations over 3 or 7 days. You can purchase your pass at our visitor centres or buy online, simply visit our admissions website and select Explorer Pass from the menu selection.
Or join Cadw membership and enjoy unlimited access all year round to over 130 historic monuments across Wales plus half price entry to all English Heritage and Historic Scotland properties in your first year.
